Why Have Frameless Shower Doors Installed at Your Atlanta Home?

Some materials perform better than others in moist environments. Glass, for instance, stands up very well to prolonged moisture, making it an ideal material for the construction of shower stalls and doors. However, many glass shower doors feature metal frames, and these frames are notorious for becoming pitted over time. And nothing detracts from a beautiful bathroom quicker than shower doors that are speckled with rust-colored spots. Fortunately, if you live in the Atlanta, Georgia, area, you can turn to the glazing experts at Kennesaw Glass & Mirror to have frameless shower doors installed at your home.
One of the reasons glass shower doors in the past featured metal frames was because the glass itself was not very strong and required reinforcement. However, improvements in technology have allowed for the production of tempered glass panels that are thicker and strong enough to stand on their own without the added support of metal frames. Because our glass shower doors are devoid of metal frames, not only will they not pit over time, but they will lend a sleek, streamlined appearance to your bathroom.
